Ronaldinho believes Philippe Coutinho is a perfect fit for Barcelona and hopes he can eventually secure a move to the Nou Camp from Liverpool

Ronaldinho believes Philippe Coutinho is a perfect fit for Barcelona and hopes he can eventually secure a move to the Nou Camp from Liverpool.
Coutinho, who has scored four goals in his last five games, was the subject of three failed summer bids from Barcelona, the last of which was worth an initial £113m.
Barca are expected to renew their interest in the 25-year-old in January and Ronaldinho told Sky Sports News he would like to see Coutinho lining up for his former club.

"I believe the way he plays will perfectly suit Barcelona and would be delighted to see a player of such quality wear the shirt."
Ronaldinho on Philippe Coutinho
"I would be very happy to see such a talented player wear the shirt I wore for so many years," said Ronaldinho, who is in London this week as a Football for Peace ambassador.

"I believe the way he plays will perfectly suit Barcelona and would be delighted to see a player of such quality wear the shirt.
"I like the way Coutinho plays and the type of football he brings. Those types of qualities will hopefully help Brazil win the next World Cup."

Coutinho will face England with Brazil on Tuesday
Brazil face England at Wembley on Tuesday evening and Ronaldinho believes Gareth Southgate is building a side that can compete in major tournaments.

"I follow them closely and you can see a lot of young players coming into the team," he said.
"Even though they're not very well known right now, they've got talent and will only get better.

"This England team won't be about individuals but about the strength of the group. I think they'll have a good World Cup."

Lionel Messi has signed a new contract at Barcelona

Has Lionel Messi signed a new contract with Barcelona?
Lionel Messi has signed a new contract at Barcelona, according to La Liga's president Javier Tebas.

Barcelona CEO Oscar Grau said the La Liga club would offer him a new lifetime deal but questions still linger over whether Messi has signed any necessary paperwork.

Tebas says Barcelona have informed him a contract has been signed unless he has been "lied to".
"Messi has a contract which has been renewed," Tebas told reporters at a Europa Press media event.
"Contracts are official when they are signed and not when it is announced that they have been signed.

La Liga president Javier Tebas claims Messi has signed a new four-year deal and will remain at Barcelona

"Messi has signed with Barcelona, if I have not been lied to, he has signed."
Back in September, Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu said Messi is already playing under a five-year contract signed on behalf of the player by his dad. However, the lack of official confirmation from the La Liga club has caused concern among fans.

In Guillem Balague's Q&A with Sky Sports on October 20, he said: "Messi is getting paid according to the new contract. All that is missing is the picture with the president."
The 30-year-old spoke last week of his desire to return to his boyhood club Newell's Old Boys at some point in his career.

"The desire is always playing for Newell's, it is what I dreamed as a kid," Messi told Argentine channel TyC Sports.
"When I went to the club I imagined playing in the Primera Division, but I do not know what's going to happen in a few years.

"I cannot say I'm going back because I do not know where I'm going to be."

Portuguese superstar(CR7) 'demands Real Madrid exit' after rejecting 'unacceptable' new contract

Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly told Real Madrid he wants to quit the club at the end of the season.
The Portuguese superstar, who is contracted for another three years, was thought to be eyeing a move last summer following his tax evasion charge.
Ronaldo stayed put at the Bernabeu and Real were determined to extend his stay beyond 2021, despite the player not being interested in a new deal.
And Spanish TV station El Chiringuito report Ronaldo has rejected the terms and told Florentino Perez of his desire to depart.
He is said to be angered by the deal on the table and believes he should be allowed to leave for a reasonable price.

Ronaldo, who celebrated the birth of his fourth child earlier this week, has endured a tough start to the season, particularly in La Liga, scoring just once.
He has performed better in the Champions League in what has been a disappointing campaign for Zinedine Zidane's men to date.
They are third in the table after 11 games, eight points adrift of leaders Barcelona.

Manchester United and PSG were both linked with a move for the 32-year-old last summer.
They opted to pursue other targets and it remains to be seen if they would make a move for Ronaldo when the current campaign comes to a close.
